The maintenance methods of LED high bay lights mainly include inspection and replacement of damaged parts.
1.Check power supply.
First, you need to check whether the power supply of the bulb is normal, including whether the plug, switch, etc. are normal, and whether the wires are loose or damaged. If a problem is found in the power supply, it needs to be repaired or replaced accordingly.
2.Replace the light board or power supply
If the light source is broken, for SMD LED high bay lamps, you only need to replace the entire lamp board; for high-power integrated lamps, you need to replace the entire light source. When replacing the lamp board or power supply, pay attention to the heat conduction of the lamp to avoid excessive heat dissipation during use, which may damage the lamp.
3.Check LED lamp beads
If the LED high bay light does not light up, it may be a cold solder joint or poor soldering quality. To this end, you need to check whether the solder joints of the LED light bar are cold or falling off, as well as the quality of the solder joints.
4.Damaged LED lamp beads
If the LED bead is damaged, you can find the damaged bead through a short circuit test and replace it. For those who do not need professional tools, you can determine which bead is damaged by a short circuit test or by observing whether there are black spots on the LED bead. Then, use the candle heating method to remove the damaged bead and install a new one. It should be noted that LED lights have positive and negative poles. If they are connected in reverse, the LED light will not light up.
5.Repair power filter capacitor
If the LED high bay lamp flickers, the reason is that the power filter capacitors on the output and input sides are damaged or have poor contact. You need to check and replace the damaged filter capacitors.
Through the above methods, common problems of LED high bay lamps can be repaired and solved. During the maintenance process, it is the main consideration to ensure that the maintenance operation is carried out under power failure to avoid the risk of electric shock.
